2017 is shaping up to be one amazing ride for cyclists across South Africa. As many South Africans use this time to plan their year and determine where they will travel to and what they plan to do, we couldn’t help putting together 4 epic rides we can’t wait for, and we only reached March!

VALUE LOGISTICS FAST ONE

The Value Logisstics Fast one

At the time of writing, entries will have been closed but this “little” race located in the South of Johannesburg is always a fantastic ride as it serves as a seeding event for the Cape Town Cycle Tour. With 49km and 96km options available, this is a great ride to kick off the year. http://www.thefastone.org/Home/

DIS-CHEM RIDE FOR SIGHT

Ride for sight

Another potential seeding event for the CTCC and 94.7, the Dis-Chem Ride for Sight is an epic race that’s held in Boksburg annually. Not only is the race itself a fast race with 116km and 62km options, the reason for the existence of the race is truly inspiring. To date, the Dis-Chem Ride for Sight has contributed more than R4 million to Blindness research projects. That’s reason enough to enter.

POWERADE 2017 ARGUS COUNT DOWN

Powerade

With the Cape Town Cycle Tour, right around the corner the Powerade 2017 Argus Count Down is a brilliant warm up ride before you hit the long road down to the Western Cape. Held in Vanderbijlpark the race itself is not very intense with the longest route only being 60km. However, clock a good personal time here and you’ll be brimming with confidence when you tackle those personal goals at the CTCC!
